ERIM's PhD programme aims to educate and train future faculty members of international business schools. To be considered as attractive faculty members, PhD candidates need to become specialised researchers in their own research field and be able to publish papers in top academic research journals. Furthermore, they also need to be able to position their own research field in the broader stream of management research. Therefore, ERIM's PhD programme provides PhD candidates with knowledge and (research) skills that make them specialised researchers with sufficient knowledge of the various areas of research in management.
