Career Perspectives

The main purpose of the Master of Philosophy in Business Research is to train students for future academic positions in research in management. Students who have completed this Programme will have a perfect background to continue their research activities in a PhD Programme in Business or Management. It is expected that the majority of the MPhil students will proceed with their research career in the ERIM PhD Programme.

Master students, who do not continue to the PhD programme, will have developed skills that are relevant for supporting functions at staff departments of large companies, consultancy firms and institutes for applied research.
